Roads and Maritime Services granted an exclusive-use aquatic licence for a section of the beach for the event, on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29.
The triathlon will be held between 6.30am and 4pm on both days.
Boaters must not enter the water from the shoreline next to the Batehaven end of the beach to the centre of entrance to the beach from George Bass Drive.
The area will be defined by brightly coloured buoys, which will extend for around 300 metres from the shoreline.
Competitors will be racing around the markers and the exclusive use area extends for 20 metres outside the bouys to ensure their safety.
The area will be monitored by control vessels and failure to comply with directions can result in fines.
