The group welcomed three members of the Kay family and additional members from the Reid and Klower families, who have had regular runners in the past.

A number of young runners set the course alight as they prepared for school cross country events and 16 personal best times were recorded.

 The 3.5 kilometre event was attacked with a vengeance as eight people slashed large chunks off their times.  

Dan Lloyd-Jones set a new course record of 12.21 seconds, reducing the record set by Jamie Hawke in January 2013. 

Anna Hosking reduced her time set in 2010 by more than eight minutes.

The runners meet at the Mossy Point lookout at 5pm each Wednesday.
