On the second Sunday of the month, the best musicians, vocalists, jazz bands and guest artists will entertain at Moruya Golf Club from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
Jazz Club co-ordinator Stafford Ray says the new steering committee will build on the club’s solid history.
“Our aim is to continue the tradition of quality music for listening and dancing, but to open up opportunities for developing musicians and singers to improve their skills,” he said.
“We invite anyone, of any age and ability, who has an instrument to come along on March 22 at 10.30am for our first rehearsal day.
“If you are a bit shy, just come to meet us and have a listen.
“We have some of the most experienced professionals in the world right here, ready to coach, so let’s use them.”
Entry to Jazz Club gigs is $10 and $8 concession and Moruya Golf Club members.
