Eurobodalla Shire Council is teaming up with The Festivalists and the National Relay Service for the awards, which are hosted by Australia’s senior film festival Young At Heart.
The festival recognises actors aged 55 and over for their contribution to the Australian film industry.
This year’s seven finalist films will be shown at Batemans Bay Library on Thursday, March 19 and Moruya Library on Friday, March 20.
The audience will have an opportunity to vote for the audience award for best short film.
Films include Crumble starring Roy Billing, Love song devotions which was an official selection for the Melbourne International Film Festival, and the world premiere of Now you see her starring Gael Ballantayne.
Each film will also be shown at over 60 community events across NSW during Seniors Week from March 14 to 22.
Screenings are free but bookings are essential.
