Team organiser Samantha Clarke said staff members at the school were regular participants in the event.
“We are very excited to be taking part again this year,” she said.
“(We want) to support a cause which is very close to our hearts, as cancer has unfortunately touched too many people we know.
“It is important to us.”
To raise funds for the event, the school will be holding a purple day and a jelly bean guessing competition.
Ms Clarke said the team was committed to having someone on the track for the whole 24-hour fundraiser.
“Someone will be on the track at all times,” she said.
“Day, night, rain, hail, or shine, we will have someone on the track.”
Ms Clarke said the team was looking forward to the event.
“We particularly love the banter and cheerful spirits that all participants provide when you walk around the oval,” she said.
The event will be held over March 14 and 15 at Mackay Park, Batemans Bay and has a Mexican Fiesta theme.
A total of $5000 has been raised and 28 teams have registered.
