The four-member group on Eurobodalla Shire Council split last month on the issue of a special rate variation, with councillors Liz Innes and Milton Leslight opposed to the 6.5 per cent rise and Peter Schwarz and Neil Burnside supporting it.
The incident appeared likely to split the group.
Cr Burnside confirmed a meeting between ERA members was held last week on Wednesday night, but would not comment further.
Instead, he directed all queries to ERA executive member Ron Gifford.
“I understand Ron Gifford will respond regarding the outcome of the meeting shortly,” he said.
No statement has yet been received.
