Nathan Blundell, 22, was charged on Tuesday with murdering 33-year-old Mr Power at Young on August 29, 2013.
He has also been charged with being an accessory before the fact of murder between August 16 and 29.
The charge reads that Blundell “did incite, move, procure, aid, counsel, hire and command” 19-year-old Owen Fuller to murder Mr Power.
Blundell’s case was mentioned in Wagga Local Court on Wednesday soon after Fuller appeared in court via audiovisual link to a prison.
Fuller was charged on February 11 with the murder of father of one Mr Power and made an initial appearance in Nowra Local Court the next day.
Both of the cases have been adjourned to April 8 for legal representatives of the two accused to reply to the prosecution’s brief of evidence.
Director of Public Prosecutions solicitor Virginia Morgan told the court 90 per cent of the brief would be ready by that date.
Fuller and Blundell are also charged with aggravated break and enter.
Police allege they broke into a Spring Street, Young, property between August 7 and 8, 2013, and stole a Nissan Navara, a box trailer and tools.
