SES crews cut the man free and he was airlifted to Canberra hospital.
A hospital spokeswoman said on Tuesday morning he remained in a critical condition.
A Workcover spokesman said the authority would not investigate the incident, as it occurred on a hobby farm, rather than a commercial operation.
3.49: A man airlifted to Canberra after being trapped on his tractor beneath a fallen tree near Mogo was in a critical condition on Monday afternoon.
A Canberra Hospital spokeswoman at 3.45pm said the man was in a critical condition.
MORUYA State Emergency Service’s Peter Collins said crews were called after the man was trapped at Jeremadra, south of Mogo.
“The man was on a tractor and a tree fell across his path and trapped him,” Mr Collins said.
“We had two crews there, and Batemans Bay SES also had a crew there.
"We cut the tree off him while the ambulance officers treated him."
Snowy Hydro Southcare transported him to Canberra.
A Workcover NSW spokesman said the Spring Water Place accident occurred on a hobby farm.
1.56: A man who was trapped under a tree after a tractor accident near Mogo has been airlifted to Canberra.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed the man was flown to Canberra shortly before 2pm.
Batemans Bay SES, Police, paramedics and Snowy Hydro Southcare attended the scene at Spring Water Place, Jeremadra, south of Mogo.
The alarm was raised at about 11.30am on Monday, February 16.
Emergency services said the man was freed from beneath the tree at about 1pm.
SES volunteers cut the tree into pieces while paramedics treated the man.
He was understood to be in a serious but stable condition after being trapped by his arms beneath a tree.
1.22pm: Rescue crews have freed a man who was trapped beneath a tree at Jeremadra, south of Mogo.
An Ambulance NSW spokesman said the man was in a serious but stable condition and was being prepared for transport to hospital.
Snowy Hydro Southcare and SES crews are at the scene.
It is understood the man was hurt while using a tractor.

12.15: Paramedics are treating a man trapped under a tree after a tractor accident at Jeremadra, south of Mogo.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said the man is trapped by his arms but is in a stable condition.
Four paramedics are at the scene on Spring Water Road.
Batemans Bay SES crews and the Snowy Hydro Southcare crew are on the scene.
Noon: Snowy Hydro Southcare has flown to the aid of a man injured on Monday morning in a farming accident near Moruya.
Batemans Bay SES crews have also been tasked to the scene, understood to be at Jeremadra, between Mogo and Moruya.
It is understood a man was injured while using a tractor.
A Snowy Hydro Southcare spokeswoman said the crew was sent to the scene at about 11.30am, on Monday, February 16.
