And if you visit on Sunday, February 1 you are invited to join a Gardens Guide on a late summer walk.
Your guide will show you the New Holland Honeyeaters feasting on grevilleas and you will follow the nectar trail.
Look out for a black and white striped bird with a yellow flash on its wing.
Every month, a Gardens Guide takes visitors on an intimate journey through the landscaped and bush trails, sharing some of the fascinating stories and up-close encounters with plants and animals.
The walks are a unique opportunity to experience the Gardens through the eyes of a knowledgeable and passionate guide.
Free, informative self-guided trail maps to help you discover more about local landscapes, aboriginal plants and birdlife, are available.
All plants which grow in the Gardens are native to the South Coast and adjacent ranges. All have been collected from a beautiful and diverse range of environments, and propagated on site.
All ages are welcome. The walks start at 11am and last an hour or so.
Walks leave from the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens (ERBG) Visitors Centre. No booking is necessary.
For more information phone the ERBG Visitors Centre on 4471 2544, five kilometres south of Batemans Bay on the Princes Highway.
Opening hours are 9am to 4pm Wednesdays to Sundays and every day during the NSW school holidays.
