My husband and I own the bordering property to this site and in 2010 we lodged a grievance with Telstra regarding the disgraceful state of both the site and plant.
The original grievance was lodged in April 2010 and despite many phone calls and being given the total run around, nothing was done until in September, 2010 falling debris from one of the trees caused considerable damage to our home.
Telstra paid for repairs and removed suspect trees from the block but never made good on our other grievances which are identical to those raised by Mr McGee.
Currently, Telstra Box 1 has plants growing in its roof (as it did in 2010) and there is also a gaping hole.
The general condition of the block does not allow for mowing and sprays have been used to control weeds.
Overspray has drifted onto our block resulting in areas of front lawn dying permanently.
Come on Telstra, maintain this property and consider your neighbours.
