The entrants were slowed down on their run due to puddle and mud in the first kilometre of the track. 

Nine new starters joined the group and visitors from Canada, NSW, Victoria and the ACT took part. 

Andrew McPherson received his 30-run shirt and his family were there to celebrate the occasion with him.

Organiser Mike Kennedy was rapt in the times turned in.

“There were five personal best times and given the conditions, anyone with a PB ran very well,” Kennedy said.
