There were plenty of thrills and spills at the event, which included all the usual favourites; bull ride, bareback bronc ride and saddle bronc, barrel racing and roping events.
Competitors shared in more than $21,410 in prizemoney.
Moruya Rodeo committee member Amber Pollard said the day’s gate takings would go toward running next year’s event.
“It was the biggest gate takings we’ve ever had – I think the weather helped that,” she said.
“It was a really good year this year.
“Thank you to the local community and our many sponsors. Without them we couldn’t have events like this.”
