AN unknown person smashed the rear window of a Mitsubishi Lancer in Batehaven on Sunday night.
Police said the window of the car was smashed in Crag Road in Batehaven about 9.45pm on Sunday, and that the damage was estimated to be about $300.
Police were called and they are investigating.
DRIVER CAUGHT
A MALUA Bay man caught doing burnouts in Surf Beach will appear in Batemans Bay Local Court on January 12.
The 24-year-old man was seen by witnesses to perform the burnouts at Sawmill Avenue at 8.30pm on November 29.
His registration plates were confiscated for three months and he will appear in court on a charge of driving in a manner dangerous on January 12.
YOUTHS ARRESTED
TWO youths were arrested and charged following an assault at Corrigans Reserve at Batehaven on Tuesday, December 16.
The incident occurred around 6pm.
A 17-year-old male from Surfside has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and resisting police.
A 15-year-old male was charged with malicious damage, resisting police and offensive behaviour.
They will appear at Batemans Bay Children’s Court in the New Year.
