Friends and family flew to Las Vegas to help Carmen and Adam celebrate their
marriage at the Graceland Chapel. Elvis sang several songs and had the whole gathering up and dancing.
Carmen, the daughter of Alyssa McIntosh and Chris Williams of Canberra, wore an ivory full-length fit and flare gown with a lace bodice purchased from Enchante in Canberra, and fitted by Stitches of Batemans Bay.
The 1950s styling was perfectly complemented with a turquoise vintage pillbox hat, purchased from Etsy, and turquoise Mary Jane-style shoes from Vaemp, Batemans Bay.
Carmen was attended by her friends Krystaal Hinds, Fiona McLaughlin, Kylie Faulks and Kirsty Fisher (Kirsty was unable to attend the wedding), who wore turquoise vintage-style fit and flare style frocks, handmade from Italian lace by Mulberry Street Vintage, Newtown. Their hair and makeup was by Amelia C & Co.
Carmen carried a small bouquet of peach roses, and Adam wore a small peach rose boutonniere, supplied by Graceland Chapel.
Adam, the son of Sherryn and Keith Bellis of Canberra, was attended by his brother Craig Bellis and his friends Shayne Welsh, Jarrod Garth and James Green (James was unable to attend the wedding).
Adam wore a vintage Johnny Carson suit, purchased from Etsy, and the groomsmen wore shirts and pants from Connor Menswear in Canberra and handmade turquoise satin bow ties from Mulberry Street Vintage.
The bridal party and 29 guests celebrated at the Top of the World restaurant at The Stratosphere in Las Vegas. Following a four-course dinner the revellers enjoyed non-stop amusement rides on top of the Stratosphere tower.
A Dodge Challenger limousine conveyed the bridal party around Las Vegas for the photo shoot by Doug from Mindy Bean Photography – an original 1950s diner, Fremont Street and the Neon Museum – a graveyard of Las Vegas neon signs discarded over the years.
After farewelling their guests, Carmen and Adam set off on a five-week road trip around the USA for their honeymoon.
