Murder accused says he should never have been charged as trial pulled at 11th hour

Lawyers for a hospital cleaner whose trial for the brutal murder of his wife was cancelled at the 11th hour want his legal fees repaid by the state government, claiming the case would never have gone ahead had the prosecution known all the facts.
