THE Bay Post published an article (page 3, November 21) that says council staff will recommend at the meeting on November 25 that no public consultation is required on some minor amendments to the LEP.

In particular, some proposed changes include land uses and review of the exempt and complying development categories.
Exempt and complying affects all residents of the Eurobodalla and can have widespread effect - known and unknown.
Public consultation is essential to understand how changes may affect even those not targeted for change.
Would council please note my request that all the proposed changes be publicly exhibited, as required by law.
