One person was trapped in a white ute when it lost control and left the road on the Kings Highway at Nelligen in slightly wet weather on Monday afternoon.

There were two people in the ute when it went off the road and down an embankment about a kilometre east of the Nelligen township at about 5pm.
Police, ambulance, Fire and Rescue and Rural Fire Service units were soon on the scene and got to work on freeing the passengers. One passenger was soon freed but the other remained trapped at the time of writing. Both are not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
The highway was temporarily closed by police.
