An exhibition, featuring the photos and stories of the people who worked at the quarry and lived in Granite Town was officially opened at the Moruya Museum in Campbell Street on Friday, November 21.
The exhibition will be open to the public on the Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be a display of pictures and paintings in a marquee at the Moruya Markets in Riverside Park on Saturday morning.
On Saturday night an old time dance, with a Scottish theme, will be held at the Moruya RSL Club.
The celebrations will wrap up with a picnic at historic Quarry Park at lunchtime on Sunday, giving descendants of the quarry workers and other interested people ample time to share memories.
Money raised during the weekend will go towards the refurbishment of the park precinct.
