Three new runners joined the group and nine personal best times were recorded.
Organiser Mike Kennedy highlighted the Dunn sisters’ improvement as they clipped a combined 3 minutes and 51 seconds off their personal best times, and Carissa and Steve Morgan in the two-kilometre event.
“Carissa is one of our Special Olympics athletes and participation in the event is very special,” Kennedy said.
