Players, club officials, sponsors and fans turned out to watch as Boars and Reds players were awarded for their efforts throughout the season.
Brumbies provincial representative player Ashley Kenny capped his successful season by
collecting the club’s best and fairest award and also the players’ player award.
Dimity Collier was named the club person of the year.
James Roberts, in his first season back with the Boars, was named best forward and captain Andrew Fleming was the best back.
Halfback Robert Thomas took home the coach’s award, five-eighth James Thomas won the captain’s award and Luke Condon the most improved.
For the Reds, JD Absolum won the coach’s award, Kevin Wellington was awarded the best back and Jeremy McDonogh the best forward.
Two special awards were presented at the end of the night: Rob Small took home the “I did it my way” award and Matt Absolum was handed the “shattered” award.
