In Batemans Bay Local Court on October 13, Mr Tinker, 33, pleaded guilty to driving with a middle-range prescribed concentration of alcohol in his blood on the evening of September 10.
He was breath-tested in Hume Road, Surf Beach, and returned a reading of 0.116.
In the police facts, Mr Tinker said he drank five schooners of full-strength beer before he was caught.
Magistrate Doug Dick recorded a conviction for the offence, and ordered Mr Tinker to pay a $1200 fine and surrender his driver’s licence for nine months.
