Starring alongside musicians at Granite Town, Moruya’s Jazz, Food and Funk Festival, will be a double-deckerbus, normal enough on the outside, but decked out inside as a 1920s French food and wine bar.
Front-of-house conductor Mark Hacio visited the Eurobodalla last week to scope out produce for the October 17, 18 and 19 festival at Riverside Park.
“The region has so much wonderful fresh produce,” Mr Hacio said.
“While the food on the menu will be inspired by French cuisine, we will feature local oysters and locally grown fruit and vegetables.”
The bus will serve meals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and morning coffee.
Mr Hacio said he wanted to take people back in time.
“The bus will be parked overlooking the river, but when passengers step on board, they will be transported back in time to the 1920s,” he said.
“Much of the interior has been imported from France and it’s like another world inside.
“There will be a small stage and some live music while diners enjoy their meals.”
