Similar protocols apply at state and local government levels in Australia.
Then, in regard to “nebulous” climate change, we have the Intergovern-
mental Panel on Climate Change applying its influence with the CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology.
This process is being misused to portray what is claimed to be scientific certainty to impose political ideas for their mutual self-interest and protection.
The IPCC was established and funded from 1988 by UN organisations - the World Meteorological Organisation, and the United Nations Environment Program, which represents the politics of the Greens.
Australia’s permanent representative on the World Meteorological Organisation is from the Bureau of Meteorology, whose scientists, like those from the CSIRO, play leading roles in the development of IPCC’s assessment reports including AR5 Summary for Policymakers published in 2013/2014.
CSIRO and the Bureau echo and promote the IPCC’s political orthodoxy - that dangerous anthropogenic global warming exists, its cause is man-made carbon dioxide emissions (linking it to energy production), and, its solution, decarbonise the planet.
This represents the assumed scope of the computer models’ virtual realities on which the IPCC depends and in which the orthodox alarmist claims, including sea-level rise, are created, assessed and promoted.
Incredibly and absurdly, natural influences are assumed to follow the models.
The CSIRO is a major adviser for Eurobodalla Shire Council’s Policy of Intent.
Eurobodalla residents have shown it is a product of IPCC orthodoxy.
More importantly, 11 independent international climate scientists have submitted a report totally repudiating council’s Policy of Intent.
It is time for the CSIRO and Bureau scientists to test their integrity and validity in public debate with those independent scientists.
Ethical shire councillors must vote to ensure this happens.
