Eurobodalla Shire Council is setting up its sports activity trailer at Moruya’s Riverside Park each Thursday during the next fortnight.
Children from five to 18 years will be able to raid the trailer for all sorts of equipment to use in supervised games from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
Mayor Lindsay Brown encouraged children to take part in the “great opportunity”.
“The trailer is an excellent resource filled with all sorts of play equipment including football, cricket and ten pin bowling, tennis and traditional indigenous games,” Cr Brown said.
He said there was no need to book, but children under 18 needed to be in the company of a parent or guardian to take part.
“Please also bring a hat, water bottle, sport shoes, sunscreen and some lunch so you can get the most out of the day,” he said.
For information phone council’s communities activities officer, Shane Davison on 4474 7344 or 0409 826 715.
