Pharmacists Liz Carter, (Bay Central Pharmacy), Pat Jackson (Capital Chemist Village Centre) and Neil Mackay (Batehaven Pharmacy) lined up to be dunked to raise money for Community Life Batemans Bay’s Hope House and Hope Place emergency accommodation facilities.
Organisers borrowed a dunking booth from Batemans Bay High School, and dozens of onlookers gathered as Pat Jackson underwent the first dunking.
None other than Eurobodalla Mayor Lindsay Brown did the honours, taking off his jacket and scoring a direct hit with his first shot.
When asked if he would swap places with Mr Jackson, Cr Brown said “no flamin’ way!”
