The gathering is held annually in a rural area, and this year the host town is Coolamon, near Wagga Wagga.
In 2005 the Women’s Gathering was hosted by the women of Bega, and it was a memorable event for those who attended.
It is time the Women’s Gathering returned to the Far South Coast, so I challenge the women from Batemans Bay and Moruya to host an event for the women in the area, so they can experience the fun and entertainment that such a gathering will bring.
About 300 women will travel from all corners of NSW to the beautiful Far South Coast for the event.
Hosting close to home also provides an opportunity for local women to attend without the added cost of travel and accommodation.
For guidelines and submission details, contact Rural Women’s Network at www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/rwn.
I look forward to attending the gathering.
