The reception and pool surrounds at Batemans Bay have been painted and the water is in and being reheated. Moruya pool has also been repainted and staff are looking forward to opening the doors on Saturday.
Mayor Lindsay Brown says the pools are fabulous community facilities that enable Council and the YMCA to offer Learn to Swim and health and fitness programs including aqua exercise classes, squad coaching and lanes for lap swimmers and recreational play.
‘Both pools re-open this Saturday, September 20, at 10am and entry will be free for the day so come along and have a splash,’ said Cr Brown.
The early season opening hours will apply until October 25 and are:
Monday – Thursday 6am-6pm
Friday 6am-12noon
Saturday 10am-4m
The pools’ opening hours will extend again at the end of October for the shoulder season and then again over the January school holidays for the peak season.
