With the score 1-1 at full-time at Gundary Oval, Clyde triumphed with two goals in 20 minutes of extra time.
Clyde will play the grand final against the winner of next Sunday’s final between the Swans and Batemans Bay.
Clyde comfortably won last week’s final round match 5-nil against the Swans, who were out for revenge in Sunday’s return clash.
After a tight first-half struggle, Clyde went 1-nil ahead in the 55th minute when Ashleigh Dillon netted from a goalmouth scramble.
Never a team to give up easily, the Swans launched counter-attacks and with six minutes of play left, Shannon Nicholls slammed in Ali Baker’s cross to level the score 1-1.
With seconds left, the Swans nearly grabbed victory but Adele Saines’ shot just went wide and the game proceeded to extra time.
Both sides went all-out for victory, with Clyde’s Sheree Coubrough, with a shot, and Ali Ryan, a header, giving Clyde a 3-1 win.
It was a tough encounter, illustrated by yellow cards shown to Clyde’s Sheree Coubrough, for pushing opponent Jodie Saines in the 34th minute, and to the Swans’ Ali Baker, for obstruction in the seventh minute of extra time.
Clyde coach Paul Dillon anticipated Moruya would reach the grand final.
“I thought Moruya played very well, they really gave it to us,” Dillon said.
Swans co-coach Andrew Catsaras, reflecting on the game, said to his team “there was nothing much between us”.
“We really took them to the wire, you played your hearts out and I couldn’t be more proud,” Catsaras said.
