The school will be hosting an Adidas School Fun Run, a fundraising event, on September 17 at Corrigans Beach Reserve.
The fun run will pose students greater problems than a regular fun run, as it will be an obstacle course.
Physical education teacher Rod Hatton said the event was about participation.
“The fun run is a healthy, fun and active fundraiser that sends the right message to our students about getting active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle,” Hatton said.
All entrants received sponsorship forms to help gain sponsors on behalf of the school and funds raised will be used to purchase sport lockers, sporting equipment and new team jerseys.
Hatton said the school appreciated family support at events such as the fun run.
“We would like to welcome parents and family members to help cheer on students and perhaps volunteer to help with obstacles,” he said.
“We encourage all students to get involved.”
