In the major semi-final at 1.30pm CBK clashes with Sticks for a spot in the grand final.
Strikers tackle Wanderers at 3pm in the minor semi-final for a shot at the loser between CBK and Sticks.
Last Saturday, Sticks defeated shorthanded Strikers 2-1 at Moruya.
In a fierce encounter both teams defended well and had chances to score which missed.
“Rosie Scott and Blake Smith were well matched and had some good tussles,” committee member Cheryl Sutherland said.
Ros Smith and Lindy Hudson scored for Sticks while Therese Pryor scored for Strikers.
Strikers’ best and fairest were Melissa Mass, Helma Pryor and Jess Dwyer and Lindy Hudson, Nicole Thomas and Lyndall Lotze gained the points for Sticks.
CBK faced Wanderers in the second game and both teams were down on numbers.
Louisa Bonner scored a hat-trick and Sarah Seears also put a goal away with the final score 4-nil to CBK.
Best and fairest for CBK were Louisa Bonner, Hayley Bettridge and Kat Buttsworth while Nicole Compton, Mel Musgrove and Chris Simmons earned points for Wanderers.
It was a close match for the minor premiership this season with CBK just beating Sticks by one point.
The final ladder was:
CBK 18.
Sticks 17.
Strikers 9.
Wanderers 4.
The association’s presentation night will follow the grand final on September 6 at the Moruya Golf Club.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased from Ros Smith by August 31.
Cost includes a two-course meal and the club have put on a DJ for the night.
