Kaileigh perished in a car accident in Sydney in April, and the school decided to dedicate the planting day to creating the garden for her.
Family and friends, including Kaileigh's sister and cousin who are students at the school, were on hand to see trees planted and a buddy seat assembled and installed.
Much of it was financed by the $1000 the school received when it won Eurobodalla Shire Council's Learning for Life competition.
