The under 10s kicked off proceedings with a 42-nil win against Bomaderry.
Tigers junior president Nathan Worthy said the team “went onto the park as a team and stuck to their game plan”.
Tries: J Worthy 3, J Chatfield 2, J Salmon 1, K Bruce 1, W Worthy 1, goals: W Worthy 1, B Jackson 1, K Bruce 1, J Salmon 1 and R Clark 1.
The Tigers’ under 12s are the club’s only team in division one and came up against a tough Albion Park outfit.
The under 12s lost 38-6 but Worthy said “the boys can hold their heads high because of the effort they put in”.
Tries: J Briggs, goals: R Henderson.
Batemans Bay’s under 14s played a back-and-forth affair with only 12 players, and no bench against Dapto.
The Tigers held on to win 34-24.
The under 15s demolished the Stingrays 50-nil after a five-week break from the action.
Worthy said the team played together and was “all class”.
Tries: J Lasker 1, S Smith 1, S Mcann 5, T Chatfield 1 and E Woods 1, goals: S Mcann 7.
“At this point, with just a few games left in the season, the juniors have a few teams in the running to make the finals which is a fantastic result for the club,” Worthy said.
