According to the Daily Mail, the court heard Michael John Severino, 24, was three times the legal blood alcohol limit when the crash occurred in Terrey Hills early on April 10.

Kaileigh, 19, died at the scene while Mr Severino suffered minor injuries.

Last Thursday Mr Severino appeared in court on charges including dangerous driving occasioning death while under the influence of alcohol, negligent driving and driving with a high-range prescribed concentration of alcohol.

He did not enter a plea and the case was adjourned to September 11 at the Downing Centre in Sydney.

Kaileigh was farewelled at a funeral service at St Mary’s church in Batehaven on April 22. A bucket list of things she wanted to do was distributed at the funeral, and this led to a Facebook page being set up (In Memory of Kaileigh Fryer) which now has more than 10,000 members from all over the world.
