I write in regard to the traffic light plan that has readers seeing red on page 11 of the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner, on August 15.
I do not agree with Eurobodalla Shire Council’s decision to put in traffic lights at the Perry and North Streets intersection.
I believe, as has been suggested, that Perry Street should become a one-way street in alignment with Orient Street.
There is also confusion as to who should give way to whom when coming out of the undercover parking area at the Village Centre.
Perhaps this could be cleared up at the same time.
On one occasion I contacted the Bay Police Station about this and was told that whoever gets to the roundabout first has right of way!
