Taylor Cooper from Manly was the only player to finish under par as he went on to claim the title finishing at two under.
He was the only player to finish with a round under 70 as he blitzed the opening day with a round of 69.
Former Catalina Country Club juniors Jimmy Pincott and Mitchell Donlan did not fare so well finishing 18 and 22 over respectively.
Pincott said he was disappointed by his play on his return home to the Eurobodalla.
“I played pretty poorly, especially on the first day, but it was interesting and it was great to return home,” Pincott said.
“I’ll look to bounce back at my next tournament.”
Donlan was also disappointed on his return to a familiar course believing he would post a better score.
He was hitting the ball well on the first day and posted a 78 despite one of his balls disappearing on a fairway.
“We searched for a while and it may have sunk,” Donlan said.
On the second day Donlan said his mind was not “switched on at all” as he went to on to score 86.
“I wasn’t focused and it showed in my play,” he said.
Donlan praised his fellow trainees, sponsors and Moruya Golf Club for the quality of the event.
“It was a very strong field for a tournament four hours south of Sydney,” he said.
“I’d like to thank the members who also joined in for a round.”
Moruya Golf Club head professional Rob Green said feedback after the tournament was great and the club would look to host it again next year.
“It was a great success as we had an excellent roll-up of professionals, sponsors and members,” Green said.
