Operation Tortoise had netted almost 200 traffic offenders by Monday morning, including a 22-year-old Denham’s Beach male who was clocked riding a motorbike at up to 164 km/h near Bemboka while evading a police pursuit.
Senior Sergeant Andrew Palmowski said 5628 motorists had so far been breath tested in the operation.
Of 198 infringement notices issued, 46 were for speeding offences.
