THE letter ‘Hospital still strong’ in the Friday, April 4 edition of the Bay Post/Moruya Examiner, self- promotion aside, did at least serve as a timely reminder of the contribution Peter and Mary Atkinson and their staff made to the local community over an extended period.

At Moruya Animal Hospital in Shelley Road, Moruya, we recognise this contribution and I am sure reflect the views of all members of the veterinary profession in the Eurobodalla, in congratulating Peter and Mary for their past efforts and wishing them happiness and fulfilment in retirement.
The future promises much for this region and I am sure that together, the local veterinary community can provide local residents with the services and choices they deserve, whilst delivering much-needed additional local employment opportunities.
