The South Coast Zone ride will be held on July 5 and 6, with 80km, 40km and 20km options.
Organiser Jenny Shepheard said two previously successful rides in the area had presented access problems, so the ride base would be located 40 metres off the Kings Highway.
“It is very easy to get to,” Ms Shepheard said.
“The ride base is on the outskirts of Nelligen, off the River Rd (Shallow Crossing Rd).
“There is a flat paddock we have kindly been given permission to use.”
Ms Shepheard said the legs of the ride would follow some trails familiar to Eurobodalla riders.
“All the legs are good under foot, with no rough, washed out or rocky tracks,” she said.
“One ride leg winds along the banks of the beautiful Clyde River, along
The River Rd, all the way to Shallow Crossing and back.
“This makes for a almost flat ride leg (with slight undulation).”
“Another leg follows the river for a while, then turns up some less-used dirt roads, through lovely bush and some rainforest.
Ms Shepheard said this leg would reach a maximum elevation of 150 metres and the ride would include no tar road, apart from a short distance entering creek crossings.
“The 20km social ride will follow the Clyde River, before turning up a bush track, looping around and back onto the road further along the Clyde River,” she said.
“Please come and enjoy a great weekend.”
