The expo will kick off at 9am with a free healthy breakfast.
From 9.30am residents can take part in a wide range of workshops and demonstrations, such as learning how to fine tune relaxation techniques, how to carry out basic bike repairs and how to shop for better health. There will also be a workshop about exercising at home.
Those registered with the Live Life Eurobodalla program can also have a free swim on the day at the Moruya pool and attend a free group active class at Better Bodies Gym from 10.15am.
At 10.30am, Eurobodalla Shire Council mayor Lindsay Brown will announce the 2014 Eurobodalla Senior Citizen of the Year, which will be followed by performances by the Deep River Choir, the South Coast Stompers and the Scottish Country Dance Society.
Mini health checks from local health services and free massages and spinal checks will be available, and there will be opportunities to have a go at tennis and hockey.
A wide range of stalls will provide information about what is available to help people in the Eurobodalla live more healthy and active lifestyles and prizes and giveaways will be awarded to those actively involved on the day.
Mayor Lindsay Brown says the Expo aimed to provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about healthy living.
“Everyone can incorporate more healthy living options into their daily lives,” he said.
“Come along and find out what you can do to improve your health and what is available in our local community to support you becoming as healthy as possible.”
The Live Life Eurobodalla Expo will be held from 9am to 1pm tomorrow at Riverside Park Amphitheatre, Moruya.
