Search on for missing mum

BREAKING NEWS

THE search is on for a Batemans Bay woman who failed to collect her one-year-old daughter from a day care centre yesterday.

Police are calling for public help to find

Donna Walters, 41, who left work at 3pm to pick up her little girl but never showed up. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Worried staff contacted police about 4.30pm to seek advice on what they should do with the infant.

Inquiries were commenced by officers from Far South Coast Local Area Command in a bid to find Ms Walters.

Serious concerns are held for the safety of Ms Walters as her disappearance is completely out of character.

Police are now appealing for public assistance as they try to locate Ms Walters, who’s described as being of Caucasian appearance, 155cm tall, 75-80kg with a stocky build, tanned complexion, brown hair and blue eyes. It’s believed she might have a tattoo of a horse on her back.

It’s believed she might be driving a blue 2000-model Daewoo Matiz with NSW registration WJU 634.

Ms Walter’s daughter is being cared for by relatives.

Anyone who sees Donna Walters or her vehicle, or knows their current whereabouts, is urged to contact Batemans Bay Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
