A happy belated birthday to Harold Bingley of Tomakin! Harold is at home recuperating from an operation on his knee, no doubt being spoiled by all the women in his life.

The Gossip Gals enjoyed a night out at Bay Theatre Players’ latest offering, Season’s Greetings. The play started slowly with us getting to know each of the characters but by the end of the first half, we were laughing hysterically! Greed, Envy, Lust and Gluttony all play their parts as do several small Christmas toys with a mind of their own. The timing in some sequences was splendid and as for the backdrop . . . we want to live in that house.

Mrs Farrington-Smyth is still enjoying the Bay and has no plans for another overseas trip in the near future. She has, however, taken up jogging and can be seen every morning on Beach Rd, on her way into town for a latte. She can be identified by her bright pink headband, reminiscent of Olivia Newton John’s fashion in Physical.
