Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fire at Batemans Bay Public School late last month.
The fire in Surfside happened on the evening of Wednesday, June 27.
Two large shade structures and a playground were destroyed in the blaze.
Police have forensically examined the scene and it appears the fire may have been deliberately lit by setting fire to a plastic children’s slide. The damage is estimated in excess of $10,000.
If anyone has any information they are urged to contact Batemans Bay Police on 4472 0099. Anonymous reports can also be made by contacting Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
