LAUREN and Marden Taylor are recovering from a very special event! Their beautiful daughter Brooklyn married local lad Adam Brandenburg at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses at Rosedale. A reception followed at Barkala on the water in the Bay. Lauren looked stunning in a long fitted gown and Adam looked extremely hunky!

A big day for Bodalla gentleman Jack Emmott next Wednesday, when Jack turns 100 years young. His beautiful wife Marion will be laying on a special day for him attended by close friends and family. Jack’s daughters Julie and Jan will be home from Canberra for the day and his son John will be travelling home from the UK where he lives, for the special event. No doubt the telegram from Betty Windsor will be taking pride of place. We wish him many more happy healthy years!

Emma Burkinshaw and her mother Kim Westnewman took baby Coby, 18 months old, to the zoo for the first time. Emma’s brother Bradley also enjoyed the outing and was particularly taken with the gibbons. The entire family, including Kylie Burk and her son Cheve, found feeding the giraffes a great experience but little Coby was just pleased to have both nannas with him for his first outing to the zoo.

Mrs Farrington-Smyth has just returned from the Grammys. She loved catching up with friends in the industry, loved the fashions and apparently “love” is the word tripping off her tongue at the moment ... watch this space.
