I support Allan Brown’s (Bay Post/Moruya Examiner 9/1/13) call for the community to have its say about the never-ending traffic chaos in the CBD of Batemans Bay starting from Flora Crescent and including the Princes Highway, North Street, Perry and Orient Streets.

The council should be urged to make the proposed meeting in February a public meeting. The suggested stakeholders listed in the reply to my comments on the lights at North and Perry Streets have only commercial interests at heart.
As far as the RMS and council, once they set their minds they disregard any commonsense solutions, especially if it disagrees with theirs.
Council should stop fiddling at the edges of this problem and set in place a plan that will overcome the traffic flow all year round rather than just at holiday times.
