Now that the hectic rush of Christmas is over (for another year), I would like to take a deep breath and pause for a moment. While pausing, I must express my appreciation of the unfailing patience and cheerful helpfulness of the sales people of Moruya during these past few weeks.

Without exception, they coped with queues of customers, answered questions (probably some of them quite irritating), and handled the purchase of goods, all with a friendly smile and a courteous word.
While it is probably unfair to single out a particular business, I must comment on the service given by the Moruya Post Office staff. They all were exceptional in the attention they gave to the “posting” public.
They gave advice on suitable and unsuitable packaging, they offered constructive suggestions regarding the most economical way to send Christmas mail and helped with making parcels post office friendly by using appropriate Australia Post products. They often came from behind the counter to give practical, on the knees, help to customers having trouble with finding the right box or envelope. And this was willingly and cheerfully done.
Bravo, Moruya Australia Post!
