Princes Highway reopens after fire

The Princes Highway has reopened between Wandean Road and Bendalong Road at Wandandian after being closed yesterday due to a bushfire.

Motorists using the Princes Highway through the area are advised to allow additional travel time as a reduced 60km/h speed limit is in place and delays are expected.

There may also be some short intermittent closures of the road throughout the day.

Turpentine, Wandean and Twelve Mile Roads are still closed.

Meanwhile the Kings Highway continues to be closed between Bungendore and Braidwood Road and Nerriga Road remains closed between Oallen Ford Road and Albatross Road at Nerriga.

Additionally motorists travelling on the Hume Highway in Marulan are advised to exercise caution with smoke in the area reducing visibility.
