Roll up! Roll up! Roll up! The circus is in town. Come see the king of the jungle, stolen from his natural environment to jump through fire hoops, stand on his back legs and beg, fearful of being struck with the sting at the end of a whip.
Come see monkeys riding on the back of horses, they don’t eat unless they do their tricks.
Come, come, roll up, and bring your children to see animals exploited and suffering in the name of entertainment.
Animals, dragged from town to town in tiny cages, only upon reaching their destination, able to stretch their legs.
This circus had an elephant, who turned, killing its keeper ... need I say more?
Please do not go to the circus. Protest by staying away!
