At the recent Batemans Bay Annual District Carnival, 19 Moruya Swimming Club members raced against swimmers from clubs in the ACT and Wollongong area as well as the South Coast.

Every Moruya swimmer recorded at least two new personal best times (PBs), with some achieving this in every race they swam.
Special mentions go to Robbie Hogg with a 20 second PB in his medley race, and Bella Bussa and Craig Senior who managed huge 16 second improvements in medley and butterfly races respectively.
It was a long day and really hot weather, so the times swum were a credit to the Moruya coaches and the amount of training that the swimmers have done this season.
