Both representative batters from the Tigers and the Cavs said they felt confident about the upcoming match.
The Cavaliers beat the Tigers last year and are hoping for a repeat performance.
Cavaliers batsman Elliot Wain said that the Tigers have been a better team all year, but not to underestimate the Cavs.
“We have a good blend of youth and experience and will put our best foot forward on Saturday,” he said.
“This year our side has had a lot of junior players from 17 to 19 year olds and a good mix of some seniors like myself, Tim Hartshorn and Greg MacDonald.
“The Tigers are more experienced team but we have some great juniors so we don’t see that as their advantage.”
Mich Grant an all rounder from the Tigers said that he is feeling pretty confident about Saturday’s final.
“I’m feeling confident, our side has been playing well all season,” he said.
Tigers bowler Gav Ladmore said that the Tigers are the people’s team and will be hard to beat on Saturday.
Both players are hoping that a big crowd will attend to watch the day’s play with full canteen and bar facilities available.
