I have never been motivated to write a letter to the Editor before, but the plans for Hanging Rock seem to be putting all our eggs in one basket at enormous cost when the bowling club site is a wonderful asset with many facilities.
In regard to the letter (Bay Post/Moruya Examiner 17/4/13) by Michael Voce “Bowlo land part of Mackay’s legacy”. At present Eurobodalla Shire Council has a plan to revamp the Hanging Rock precinct and is asking for community input.
CAN someone tell my why the price of diesel at the Shell in Batehaven is at least 10 cents dearer than any service station between Canberra and Moruya?
The three letters I have written to Bega MP Andrew Constance desperately seeking information in relation to hunting in National Parks have failed to elicit any responses.
We all admit it was bad management that brought the Batemans Bay Bowling Club to its knees and we were desperate for an answer when the Catalina Club held out an olive branch.
Like most people I was a sceptical of Batemans Bay Hospital’s emergency department. As far as I was concerned, it was not a place to be unless you absolutely had to be there. I made the mistake once and found that hours on end was the outcome of the visit for little help.
